Failure to comply with the following rules may result in your submission being
rejected and deleted from our database.
(1)
Where it is clear that
a reader has lifted material directly off a similar site - such as 'TV And
Radio Bits' - the submission will be deleted from our database.
(2) Please restrict submissions to the list of channels available
on the dropdown menu below. If you believe a channel should be added
to that list, please
contact
us first.
(3) A
valid e-mail contact address
must be
included with your submission.
(4) Ensure that all
programme times are in
24-hour format.
For example: 6am should be input as '0600'; 12 midnight should be keyed as
'0000'; 12 noon will be input as '1200'; 5pm will be '1700'. Do
not
include hour/minute separators such as colons or periods.
(5) Programme titles should be
capitalised - all new words should
begin with a capital letter. For example: an incorrect entry would
be: 'Nearest and Dearest'. This should be input as: 'Nearest And Dearest'.
Programme titles included within the
'Additional Information' section
should also be capitalised and should be terminated with a full stop. Any other programme information included
as
additional information can be keyed in
normal sentence case and should also be terminated with a
full stop.
(6) The TV day runs from 0600 until 0600. Please do not
terminate schedules at midnight where they should run until 0600.
Where any programmes are believed to have been omitted in a submission,
the listing will be
rejected.
(7) Do not submit listings for schedules that fall within
the last
three months.
(8) Submissions that contain an excessive number of spelling
mistakes and general inaccuracies will be rejected.
The editor reserves the right to revise the above rules at
any time. Inclusion of a schedule within the TV Listings site is at
the discretion of the editor.
